The Challenge:

The client needed to visualize the placement of new compressor sets in an operating brownfield location. Scanning had to take place with the units in operation.

The Solution:

AsBuilt laser scanned and modeled the existing equipment and structure. Several locations were considered, with an animated simulation of the new compressors moving into place. A final location was chosen through virtual collaboration with stakeholders.
